About the Position

Job Title

Vascular Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Location

High Point, NC | Outpatient / Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x9.5-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging across multiple modalities including General, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Renal/Pelvis, Small Parts, and Vascular (Carotid)
• Conduct vascular studies including Doppler Studies and Upper/Lower Extremity Arterial exams
• Work independently covering Outpatient and Emergency Department settings, with radiologist support available by phone when urgently needed
• Provide imaging services across all age groups including Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Operate PACS systems and perform portable imaging as needed
• Assist with patient transport and support other modalities as a collaborative team member when ultrasound volume permits

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• RDMS with AB (Abdomen) and OB certifications required
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required
• Siemens and Acuson equipment experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active, in-hand license required at time of submission
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working independently in a fast-paced or high-acuity imaging environment
• Familiarity with portable imaging and PACS documentation workflows
• Prior travel assignment experience in a multi-campus health system
